Do Not Buy Into These "Trends" Concerning Lightest Double Stroller
Lightest Double Stroller
When searching for a lightweight double stroller the weight and size are key factors to consider. Picking one that is easy to maneuver and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to fit into the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.
The best strollers that are lightweight have a light, intuitive fold and self-standing mechanisms to reduce stress on parent bodies. A few also come with a broad variety of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families on moving. Compact and light weight, it has the ability to fold in one hand. The front suspension and all-terrain wheel and the multi-position reclining seat, allow for children to weigh up 50 pounds. Parent and child trays with a large storage basket as well as three-tier canopy with the ability to peek through the window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud earned one of the lowest scores in our tests of quality due to its flimsy design as well as hard plastic seats and a design that seems old-fashioned. It's also expensive compared to other strollers that are lighter, so it's not a good choice in the event you're looking for a low-cost option.
Although it's not the lightest double stroller, it does have enough features to be worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make it easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs with ease. The Cloud's low handle is a drawback however, as it's at knee height and not adjustable. It's difficult to push while your legs are dangling in that way. And the absence of padding does not make it any easier.
In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and use. To close it, it's a bit more difficult. You have to slide the slider, and then press a large white button. This can be quite a hassle when you're trying to keep your children entertained while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a compact, but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate the size of a large diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too narrow for larger cups or bottles.

Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents who want a lightweight double that can carry two kids. Its sling style seats are comfortable and they provide the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This lets kids sit together. Unlike many other side-by-side strollers, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat, which is a great option for napping. Its recline mechanism is simple to operate but it isn't genuinely flat; taller kids may notice a dangling leg when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a huge canopy that we found to be better in blocking sun than some other options in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to be able to move through door frames. This was a major issue with other strollers we tried. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground for easy carrying. The only drawback is its relatively small storage space, which is uncomfortable when filled with things for kids.
